Irish Vale Ice Wall

As soon as I heard about the giant ice wall in Irish Vale, I knew we had to take a drive out and see it for ourselves. Apparently, the last time something like this was in Irish Vale was over 20 years ago. The ice changes so quickly out there that it’s hard to gauge how long the wall will be there for, too. Sunday morning, I asked Lauren if she wanted to go on a little adventure, and when she said yes, I just told her to dress warm. Surprise adventures are fun!

East Bay Frozen Sandbar

One of my favourite places on earth is my grandparents summer home in East Bay. I spent summers there as a kid, and continue to go there as much as I can every summer. That being said, I haven’t spent much time there in the winter months. It’s always fun when we do go out in the winter, and today was no exception. While we didn’t go to the cottage, Lauren and I took a surprise trip to the Easy Bay sandbar today for some fresh air.
